Happy Birthday to meee! So, today I’m a quarter of a century old. Say what!? Anyway, I wanted to do something a little different and share 25 (fun, random & lighthearted) facts about me to celebrate me turning 25 today!
1. I’m 5’3” and somedays I wish I was a few inches taller, mostly so I can reach the shoes in my closet.
2. Pink is my favorite color
3. I have two sisters; Olivia, my younger sister, and my older sister, Lindsay
4. My favorite places to shop are: Lululemon, J-Crew, Madewell, Twigs, and Nordstrom!
5. I was born on my due date (December 17)- seems fitting as I am a huge planner and am always on time (hehe)
6. I am a morning person, if you know me personally, you know I’ll be asleep by 9:30pm! I don’t function well late at night!
7. Chicken & Rice, Spaghetti, and my Dad’s BBQ Ribs are my favorite meals
8. I am obsessed with shoes
9. The beach is my happy place, the sunshine and the warmth just make me feel like all is right in the world. Counting down the days until spring break!
10. I work for a HealthCare & Government IT company as a marketing specialist
11. I got my BBA in Marketing from UW-Whitewater in 2016; where I also played NCAA Women’s Golf (Go Warhawks!)
12. I have a 4-year old Yorkie, named Paisley, she’s the best!
13. My family is my favorite, most of my free time is spent with them, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
14. Shopping is what you will find me doing most Saturdays (if you are local, you will probably see me at Hilldale)
15. My favorite local restaurants are: Paisan’s, Verona Woods, Willie Ty’s, and Pasqual’s and my favorite ‘fast-food’ place is Taco Johns.
16. Country music is my favorite! My family and I are headed to a few concerts this summer and I am super excited!
17. My favorite season is summer, but I also love fall, but this year WI decided to skip right from summer to winter.
18. I plan everything out. I struggle with anxiety and OCD, so planning helps ease my mind. My family & friends are probably laughing because when I say plan everything, I really mean plan everything, down to the minor details.
19. Alex and I met in college, we lived in the same dorm freshman year, we were friends for most of college and started dating my senior year
20. I don’t have any tattoos (nor do I plan on getting any) but I do have my ears and belly button pierced
21. I was born and raised in Sun Prairie, WI. Which if you are not familiar it is a suburb of Madison (WI Capitol)
22. My favorite deserts are tarte, cupcakes, cheesecake
23. I am horrible at spelling
24. I cannot dance or sing to save my life, but I pretend I can & embarrass my family
25. I eat a bagel for breakfast every morning because carbs are my BFF
Well there you have it! 25 random facts about myself! I took the day off of work (because no one should work on their birthday in my opinion) and I’m spending the day finishing up some Christmas shopping with my Mom then we are headed to dinner with the rest of my family tonight!
