Winter Must-Haves: Sherpa Jackets + Leather Leggings

Two items I am loving for fall and winter: Sherpa anything + leather leggings! In today’s post I’m sharing some outfit inspiration combining the two trends.

Faux Leather Leggings:

When it comes to wardrobe essential pants/bottoms for Fall/Winter, a pair of faux-leather leggings is at the top of my list for ladies of all ages. Why?! Faux-leather leggings elevate the style of any outfit, can dress up or down and look fabulous with almost any tunic top, long sweater or dress. They look fantastic worn with heels, sneakers, tall boots and ankle booties. The possibilities are literally endless when it comes to styling these leggings, and if you don’t already own a pair, you need to add them to your holiday wish list pronto.

Sherpa Lined Denim Jacket:

Denim jackets are our go-tos for summer nights, but now that it’s officially fall, the weather is beginning to call for something a little more substantial. Sherpa-lined denim jackets have the same casual appeal, with an insulating layer of shearling to keep you warm. And lucky for us, they’re everywhere this season.
I picked up this medium wash-Sherpa lined denim jacket a few weeks back and it has been worn several times sense. As you can see it pairs so nicely with a basic tee and my favorite leather leggings. To me, it just adds a little something to an otherwise pretty ordinary outfit! Another way I love to style denim in the fall and winter is with a cute pair of black denim and a lightweight sweater.

Long Sherpa Faux-Suede Lined Coat:

Sherpa jackets are the perfect way to wear the trend in the winter months. Whether it’s real or faux, that super-soft layer adds just the right amount of warmth and gives the otherwise easygoing outerwear piece a dash of luxurious appeal.

EVERYONE NEED THIS JACKET! It’s SO good. I picked up the cream color last week, wore it for a few hours, and that was enough to convince me to order the Navy! The fabric is so soft and comfortable! I also love the faux suede lining because I think it adds something extra to the jacket, it looks designer!
I paired this jacket with my go-to leather leggings, a tan mockneck sweater and my favorite tan sneakers for a day spent running errands around town! But it also looks SO cute paired with dark denim, a white tee, and leopard mules/flats, which would make a super cute workwear look!

This retailer calls this a coat, and if you live in a warmer climate, you could totally get away with it as a coat. I did wear this with a light sweater on a 45 degree day and was plenty warm! Once temps start to cool off even more (by once, I mean later this week, hello 30 degrees and snow), I would use this more as a layering piece, similar to an indoor jacket/cardigan.

Outfit Details:
Sherpa Lined Denim Jacket: This jacket runs TTS, however, I sized up to the medium so I could layer sweaters.
Long Sherpa Faux-Suede Lined Coat: Runs big, I sized down one size. Wearing an x-small.
Faux Leather Leggings: These are meant to suck you in, so, if you are looking to really suck you in, go with your true size, if you are wanting some control, then size up. I sized up to a large.
Tan Mock Neck Sweater: Runs TTS, wearing a size small.
Striped Tee: Runs TTS, wearing a size small.
Black Sneakers: y’all know I love these. They run a bit small, so size up half size. Wearing an 8.5!
Tan Sneakers: I sized up a half size in these, wearing an 8.5!
