Happy Thursday, Babes!
We are on the homestretch for the weekend and I couldn’t be more exited. Can you believe the first day of Fall is on Saturday? I keep asking myself where Summer went!
I purchased this LBD at Nordstrom and it’s from the brand Leith and it comes in so many
great colors. It has become a staple in my closet, because it is so comfortable, it hugs you in all the right places + the rushing makes it so flattering, and it’s SO easy to style. It literally goes with everything and it can be dressed up or down, there are really endless options for styling this dress, so for now, I’ll share with you the options I’ve been wearing on repeat.
Option 1: Black + White Plaid Shirt
This is probably my favorite way to style this dress. It is so simple + effortless! I’ve pared mine with my favorite black and white plaid shirt, but you really could use any plaid shirt you already own, and my tried and true Vince sneakers. For a pop of color, add a fun bag or accessory. You can style this option several ways:
1.) Tied around your waist, which is my personal favorite because I think it makes me look kind of sporty and spunky.
2.) Worn like a shirt. This is perfect for cooler fall days!
3.) Tied up. This is just too cute if you are looking to keep the shape of the dress, but you want your arms covered up.
Plaid Shirt: Old from Madewell. But if you are on the hunt for some cute plaid shirts these and these are SO cute!
Sneakers: Run slightly small, size up ½ a size (wearing size 8.5) These are another great option.
Dress: Runs TTS- Wearing a medium. For a looser fit, go up one size.
Option 2: Cozy Cardigans
This LBD is perfect for layering if you couldn’t tell, so with cooler temps on the way layering cardigans is a no brainier! This is one of my go-to looks for work because you can change the look up by switching out different cardigans + shoes. This option would also look great with a pair of black booties or heels. Here I am sharing two different ways to style the dress with the cardigan, but really all you need is your favorite cardigan, a cute pair of shoes, and some jewelry and you are set!
For this look I’ve chosen a blush cardigan, a fun scarf, and matching mules. Blush is such a hot color this season and I am definitely not complaining.
Cardigan: Runs TTS- Wearing a Small (I am typically a small in cardigans)
Mules: Run TTS- Wearing a size 8
Scarf: Old from Lands End. Loving this option as well!
Dress: Runs TTS- Wearing a medium. For a looser fit, go up one size.
Here I’ve paired this LBD with my long gray cardigan, a long necklace, and my black sneakers. This is the perfect day to night look. Simply change out the sneakers with heels after work and you’re ready for cocktail hour.

Cardigan: Runs TTS- Wearing a Small (I am typically a small in cardigans)
Necklace: Old from Evereve, but this one is so cute!
Sneakers: Run slightly small, size up ½ a size (wearing size 8.5) These are another great option.
Dress: Runs TTS- Wearing a medium. For a looser fit, go up one size.
Option 3: Denim Jacket
Denim jackets are closet staples in my opinion. Depending on the style and wash they can be dressed up or down. For this look I chose more of a casual weekend look, pairing it with my favorite boyfriend denim jacket, a long necklace + my Vince sneakers. Instantly dress this look up with a pair of black block heels and you’re ready for date night.
Jacket: Runs TTS- Wearing a size medium
Sneakers: Run slightly small, size up ½ a size (wearing size 8.5) These are another great option.
Dress: Runs TTS- Wearing a medium. For a looser fit, go up one size
Necklace: Is old from Evereve, but this one would be just as cute (if not cuter)
What is your favorite way to style a LBD? I am always looking for new ways to style mine.
Have a great Thursday and a fantastic weekend!
